NWF State College Student Assistance Program

Northwest Florida State College has teamed up with Pattison Professional Counseling and Mediation Center to provide mental health counseling services for NWF State College students who need assistance coping with the challenges of college life.

All sessions are private and confidential and you are free to explore whatever is troubling you. Our counselors can help you with student-related issues like:

  • Stress from balancing classes and personal responsibilities
  • Alcohol and drug addictions
  • Eating disorders
  • Anxiety and fear
  • Frustration or difficulty concentrating
  • Depression
  • Harassment and bullying
  • Date rape or other trauma

Northwest Florida State College offers its students two no-cost, confidential and professional counseling sessions at Pattison Professional Counseling and Mediation Center each academic year. Students can continue counseling at a substantially reduced rate. Plus, Pattison accepts over 60 insurance and employee-assistance (EAP) programs to make counseling even more affordable.

Licensed Pattison counselors are onsite at the Niceville campus weekly, plus at four other PPCMC offices in Crestview and Fort Walton Beach. We also offer evening and Saturday appointments to work around your schedule, allowing you to get the help you need at a time convenient for you. Schedule your appointment today by contacting us online or call us at 850-682-1234.

At Pattison, we are here to help you overcome the stress of college and excel in academics and life.
